RAH – Renewable pAssive Heat system

The Renewable pAssive Heat system (RAH) project is focused on the enhancement of the solar thermal systems performance exploiting the passive heat exchange technology. In particular the project is focused on the study of the heat pipe performance using different working fluids, on the feasibility of using grooved heat pipes, and on the optimization of the thermal interfaces between the heat pipe and the solar collector. The study also includes an analysis of the manufacturing processes for the heat pipes in order to maintain low production costs.
